The Mobility Project - Mazatlan, Mexico Short Term Mission Trip

We are going to reach the disabled poor in the community of Mazatlan, Mexico, and surrounding areas. We will be doing wheelchair distributions as well as partnering with local churches in the area, assisting them in works they have already begun. Other opportunities we may have include local prison ministry, outreach to children through a VBS or sports program, music, dramas, testimonies, clothing distribution, feed the poor and/or construction. The precise direction we will go depends on the group, and Godís overall leading.

We will schedule info meetings as we get closer to the date. There is no training required. We take young and old, from all walks of life. Be ready with your own talents and God will use you.




Honduras Short Term Mission Trip

This mission trip is for adults and older teenagers (14-18). We will serve alongside medical professionals in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, as we help with dental, optical, and medical ministries. We will see approximately 800 Hondurans during this time, as they seek medical help at two different church sites in the city. We will not only do medical work, but we will also have the opportunity to share Christ with the patients using an interpreter. There will also be a medical station where you can share Christ with the children as you wash their hair and remove lice. Cool! We will leave from the Denver Airport on Friday, June 6 and return to DIA on Saturday, June 14.







Navajo Short Term Mission Trip

This mission trip is for adults and teenagers (12-18). We will partner with Immanuel Mission in Sweetwater, Arizona, to reach the Navajo Native American population in the four corners area of Arizona. We will be involved in a few construction projects on the Mission site and at the homes of neighboring Navajo families. We will also have the opportunity to spend each evening with a Navajo clan/family group where we will do back yard Bible clubs and build relationships with family groups. Most of the construction work will be done in the mornings and the family visits will be in the evenings. During the heat of the day we will be able to rest and build relationships with mission staff, meet the needs of the staff and plan for the evening activities. We will also schedule a day for fun and site-seeing.
