Spring 2008 Equipping Classes:

"48 Days To The Work You Love"

Leader(s): Kevin Miller- Video Teaching by author and career coach Dan Miller
Time: 8:30 - 10:30 AM
Start Date: January 6
Location: Office Conference Room
Email: kevin@48dayscoach.com

Description: God gave us natural skills, abilities and passions that he intended for us to use for his glory and our provision. Does it make sense to turn your heart off Monday through Friday from 9-5 (or more) while you toil at meaningless work just to pay your bills? That’s like saying God gave us Pike’s Peak but we can’t climb it, gold medal fishing waters but we can’t fish and snow but we can’t ski. There are more and more people everyday working at what they want, how they want and when they want. And making...more than they need. Come reveal what your dream work scenario is and how to make it happen, whether you desire to remain in a traditional job (working for someone) or to work for yourself (self-employed).

• Cost is $199 per person, discounted to $139 if there are 10 or more in the class *A spouse or child can be included at $20 extra which covers an extra workbook and electronic Career Profile report.

Essential Teachings of the Christian Faith

Leader(s): Kirk Greenstreet
Time: 10:00 AM
Start Date: January 6
Location: Room 105

Description: All of us are theologians in one way or another, to one degree or another. How can we be sure we are "right" theologians? The greatest danger theologians face is imposing their pre–conceived theology on the Bible rather than letting the Bible determine their theology. That is a danger we must all be aware of and guard against. In this class, which is filled with energetic discussion and quick–witted theologians, we will continue our journey of looking at the essential teachings of the Christian faith by studying the church, angels, demons, and the future.
