Truth Project Group

Leader(s): Bruce and Dee Johnson
Time: 6:30 PM, Saturday
Start Date: Sat. Sept. 8

Description: Do you believe that what you believe is really real? In our world today, we are inundated with many messages – most of them rooted in false "truth claims," lies set in direct opposition to the truth of God's Word. We call this the cosmic battle, a battle for the hearts and minds of people. It is a battle which pits the truth claims of God against the lies of the world, the flesh and the devil. It is a battle over what you really believe. Join us for a journey; a journey in which we will see the light of God's truth shed on the lies of the world. The Truth Project is an in-depth, structured study of truth. Is truth significant? Consider this: when Jesus was interrogated by Pilate, He proclaimed that He came “into the world to bear witness to the truth” (John 18:37). What do you believe?

"Come, discover how to follow Jesus and explore what it really means to be a disciple. As disciples of Jesus, we've discovered that following him demands a passion for the text and a complete devotion to Christian community. But there is more. A disciple is consumed with a passion to be like the Rabbi-Jesus." Come and discover the passion!

Leader(s): Steve Leigh
Time: 7:00 PM, Friday

The book explores themes such as the Christian’s relationship to the culture, the poor, the environment, evangelism and discipleship. Is Jesus calling us to more? Hello, my name is Kirk Greenstreet.

I head up the Small Groups. We believe that our small group structure is one of three essential ministries of the church.

Another way of saying it is that they are the backbone of everything we do at Woodland Park Community Church.

Small Groups are the connection in relationships that makes a church great.
